On the 13th of March 2011, that was the day for our newly fabricated Offshore Jacket with contract name PEMANIS, bound to the sea of the northern region of Sabah. It was scheduled to be loaded out from its fabrication location to the designated barge. The barge berthed alongside the worn out jetty, idling, waiting for the huge offshore structure to be rested on its steel plated saddles. The complex yet practically innovative and time saving lifting and shifting sequences take an approximate 4 to 5 hours to be completed. It's started at around 3.00 am in the early morning, considering the high tide on that particular interval. The whole operation involves a lot of men power and of course, expertise from wide range of professional individuals in order to outstandingly achieve this load out.
